Technical Test Lead - Financial Services STP

Our client is a well-established financial services organisation operating across multiple European markets. • 8-10 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance
• Strong expertise in agile testing methodologies including Scrum, Kanban and SAFe
• Proven experience with test management including planning, execution and defect management
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Postman, REST Assured, JUnit and TestNG
• Solid understanding of CI/CD integration using Azure DevOps, Jenkins and Git
• Domain knowledge in financial services, particularly STP and SWIFT messaging
• Proficiency with tools including JIRA, Confluence, TestRail, Zephyr and SQL for data validation
• Experience creating test documentation including test plans, test cases and requirements traceability matrices
• Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner
• Understanding of compliance requirements including GDPR, CSDR and ISO standards
• Fluent English communication skills

Nice to have:

• Basic understanding of .NET or Java programming languages
• Experience with middleware testing including Kafka or IBM MQ
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace or ServiceNow
• Awareness of security testing principles including OWASP and vulnerability scanning
• French or Dutch language skills as an asset

• Lead testing strategy for financial services applications within agile squads
• Work with cutting-edge automation tools and CI/CD frameworks
• Collaborate across international teams in Poland, Belgium and India
• Drive quality delivery for Straight-Through Processing (STP) systems
• Shape testing practices and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
• Define and maintain test plans, test cases and test data aligned with business requirements
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts and solution architects to ensure quality delivery
• Implement automated testing frameworks and integrate with CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and maintain comprehensive test documentation
• Monitor test execution, report defects and drive timely resolution
• Contribute to agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews and retrospectives
• Support production validation and post-deployment testing activities
• Drive continuous improvement in testing practices and agile KPIs
• Ensure compliance with quality and security standards including GDPR, CSDR and ISO requirements
• Support knowledge transfer and documentation handover activities
