Senior Data Scientist - Machine Learning & Python Development

Our client is a technology-focused organisation working at the forefront of machine learning and data science, specialising in GPU-accelerated computing and speech technologies. The company seeks a Senior Data Scientist to join their team on a 6-month contract in Krakow, focusing on advanced machine learning projects and Python infrastructure.

• 8-10 years of experience in data science, software engineering or related fields
• Deep understanding of the Python ecosystem and its libraries
• Strong experience building and maintaining Python packages
• Hands-on experience with software testing including unit and integration testing
• Proven experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to write clean, maintainable and well-documented code
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks, particularly PyTorch
• Understanding of GPU-accelerated workloads and computational optimisation
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerisation and orchestration
• Knowledge of observability practices for monitoring and debugging
• Exposure to speech technologies or similar specialised machine learning applications
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Work on cutting-edge machine learning workflows with GPU-accelerated workloads
• Build and maintain high-quality Python libraries used across the organisation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on speech technology applications
• Shape CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices in a cloud-native environment
