Senior Cloud DevOps Engineer – AWS & Multi-Cloud Platforms

This position is for a leading international financial institution focused on pioneering cloud-first solutions. The role supports diverse workloads across AWS, GCP, and Azure, within a highly regulated industry. The job is based in Krakow with a hybrid work model allowing up to 3 remote days per week.

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting enterprise cloud environments, especially AWS.
• Strong expertise in cloud account management, platform operation, and incident resolution.
• Proficient scripting skills in Python or advanced shell scripting.
• Broad experience across cloud services, with focus on AWS, and practical understanding of multi-cloud platforms including GCP and Azure.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code tools such as Git, Terraform, and Ansible.
• Solid knowledge of Linux and/or Windows operating systems.
• Experience working within Agile and DevOps frameworks.
• Security-aware mindset when delivering cloud solutions.
• Demonstrable enterprise infrastructure delivery experience.

Nice to have:

• AWS certifications.
• Advanced Terraform, Linux, or Windows certifications.
• Experience with non-functional testing.
• Knowledge of risk management, compliance, and working in regulated industries.

• Support project teams to build safe, reliable, and secure cloud-based systems aligned with business needs.
• Provide on-call support, troubleshoot technical issues, and resolve incidents efficiently.
• Create clear, comprehensive documentation accessible to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Assist in managing AWS accounts and operating core platform services.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient project launches.
• Lead major incident investigations and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Support adherence to security best practices, risk management, and compliance standards within cloud environments.
