Senior Java Software Engineer / Designer

Euvic S.A. is a large IT company with over 5000 employees and 20 years of experience. The role involves joining a team that designs and develops software using hexagonal architecture for a long-term project. The company supports a variety of international clients from multiple industries and offers a flat structure and strong support for training and development.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a Java Developer, including project design experience (Senior Developer/Designer)
• Very good knowledge of Java 17+ and Spring
• Practical experience with SQL for MS SQL and/or Oracle, including query optimization for performance
• Experience designing software architecture, including hexagonal architecture
• Ability to create project documentation using UML and HLD
• Awareness of application security principles and system performance optimization
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Proficient in Polish and English (minimum B2 level)

Nice to have:

• Experience as a Tech Lead
• Knowledge of JavaScript/React
• Knowledge of Python
• Experience with Azure cloud platform
• Preferably formal education in IT

• Design software architecture including hexagonal architecture
• Develop and maintain software using Java and Spring framework
• Optimize system performance and ensure application security (secure coding, data protection)
• Create project documentation including UML and High-Level Design (HLD)
• Work with asynchronous communication using Apache Kafka
• Utilize containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with team members using technologies like React and Python (on selected components)
