Senior Product Owner

The role is based in Poznan and focuses on retail payments and banking within the fintech domain. It entails developing modern payment platforms that support individual customers, ensuring reliability, compliance, and scalability in digital payment solutions.

• Minimum 5 years experience in payments, retail banking, or fintech.
• Solid end-to-end knowledge of retail payment processes and transaction lifecycles.
• Strong understanding of the payment service provider market and external partner cooperation models.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for electronic payments within the European context.
• Experience with SEPA standards and instant payment mechanisms.
• Proven experience managing projects or programs within the payments space.
• Skills in API and system integrations.
• Strong team management and coordination abilities.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and analytical tools.
• Good command of English (Communicative) and Polish language skills.

Nice to have:

• Certifications related to payments or project management.
• Additional experience with compliance or security standards in fintech.

• Own and prioritize the technology backlog for retail payments solutions to maximize business value and ensure transparent delivery.
• Coordinate platform enhancements and changes among stakeholders and development teams.
• Translate retail payments needs into actionable requirements aligning business objectives with technical solutions.
• Drive end-to-end understanding of payment processes and transaction lifecycles within product scope.
• Support API and system-to-system integrations with external partners and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for electronic payments, including SEPA and instant payments standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, compliant, and innovative payment functionalities.
