Software Engineer III, Fitbit Subscriptions Experience

Google develops next-generation technologies impacting billions, including information retrieval, distributed computing, AI, natural language processing, and mobile UI design. The Platforms and Devices team works across software platforms and hardware, integrating Google AI, software, and devices to create seamless user experiences globally. This role contributes to AI coaching in fitness through data from Pixel Watches and trackers, leveraging Large Language Model (LLM) technology.

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with iOS application development.
• 2 years of experience with software development in Swift and iOS development.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related field.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

• Architect, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance iOS functionalities supporting Fitbit Premium features discovery and engagement.
• Identify product gaps, propose architectural code improvements for scalability, and suggest feature enhancements.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX Designers, Backend and Android Engineers to define requirements, API specifications, and ensure mobile feature integration.
• Implement mobile solutions highlighting Premium features' value and contribute to A/B testing, feature rollouts, and analytics for subscription growth.
• Manage software development lifecycle including design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operational maintenance.
