Senior QA Engineer (Meridian)

Shiji Group is a product-based company originating from China, specializing in providing advanced IT systems for the hospitality, food service, and retail industries. In Poland, Shiji Group develops the Shiji Enterprise Platform, a comprehensive management platform for hotels.

• Minimum 5 years working experience in software/hardware testing field
• ISTQB certification completed
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of QA methodology
• Knowledge of SDLC
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Confluence, Swagger, Postman, Postgres, Kibana, Jenkins
• Deep knowledge of MS Office, Edge, Chrome, and Mobile platforms
• Advanced user of Windows or Linux
• Understanding of Cloud services
• Understanding of network and internet connectivity
• Ability to work with people from multicultural environments (different time zones)
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
• Highly motivated, influential persona and team player
• Interest in different technologies

Nice to have:

• Experience with playwright
• Experience with Docker

• Perform full regression tests on existing software implementations per internal test scripts and QA processes
• Test new code to ensure integration into existing systems meets functional and technical specifications
• Create comprehensive test reports and raise bug tickets for issues found during testing
• Conduct root cause analysis of issues, providing development teams with sufficient details to understand, replicate, and resolve
• Perform requirements analysis, documenting and communicating the results
• Cooperate closely with other teams to deliver distributed functionality
• Follow direction from a lead and manage priority changes as necessary
• Other job-related duties as assigned
