Node.js Engineer

Ring Publishing is a comprehensive publishing platform for digital media supporting online and print media brands. It uses AI and automation tools to deliver innovative solutions for editors and journalists in twelve countries worldwide, including brands like Onet, Newsweek, and Fakt. The platform assists users by suggesting texts, improving SEO, generating translations and summaries, and helping with content categorization and tagging.

• Experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Basic knowledge of React
• Knowledge of any relational and non-relational databases
• Knowledge of cloud solutions, preferably AWS (including serverless, queues, storage)
• Ability to use basic commands for working without a graphical environment in Linux systems
• Communicative level of English
• Experience in developing web tools
• Ability to work in a team
• Experience in creating tools using LLMs
• Use of AI tools in daily development work
• Ability to write tests

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Vite or Webpack
• Experience with microservices running in the cloud
• Knowledge of prompt engineering concepts
• Experience with automation systems (e.g., N8N, make.com)
• Knowledge of event-driven architecture

• Creating and maintaining solutions and tools for Ring Publishing platform users
• Implementing and maintaining Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) applications
• Collaborating with team members on planning, project evaluation, managing technical debt, AWS infrastructure costs, and AI tools usage
• Actively participating in creating and maintaining project documentation
• Monitoring systems and optimizing performance, security, and scalability
• Ensuring quality and stability of solutions, including writing and performing tests
