PLM Solution Owner

The role involves responsibility for developing the PLM area and implementing the system across production companies within the Group, including defining a common target model, configuration, integrations, and rollout across sites. It is a group-wide position reporting directly to the Group program sponsor to advise on engineering process standardization and coordinate engineering, IT, and system provider organizations.

• Minimum 7 years of experience with PLM/PDM systems, including at least 4 years in implementation, analysis, or solution ownership roles
• Participation in at least 2 full PLM implementations from requirements analysis to production launch
• Practical knowledge of enterprise-class PLM platforms, preferably PTC Windchill
• Experience in discrete manufacturing and engineering processes: technical documentation, BOM structures, change management, product introduction
• Understanding of PLM–ERP relationships and data responsibility division; experience with at least one ERP system (SAP, IFS, Dynamics 365, or Comarch)
• Ability to conduct workshops and harmonize solutions across companies with different practices; assertiveness against individual solution demands
• Experience working with management: formulating recommendations, business justifications, and presenting for decisions
• English language proficiency at minimum C1 level
• Willingness to travel to Group facilities abroad

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of at least one CAD ecosystem (SolidWorks, Creo, NX, CATIA, or Inventor) and its integration with PLM; on the E-CAD side: Altium, EPLAN, or Zuken
• Experience both as integrator and end client
• Experience in implementations spanning multiple locations or companies
• Knowledge of a second PLM platform and experience with data migration and version upgrades
• Technical basics in integration: REST, SOAP, SQL for data analysis, authentication methods and user directories (AD, LDAP, SSO)
• Familiarity with project management methodologies
• PLM platform vendor certifications

• Define the PLM area development direction within the Group
• Lead PLM implementations in production companies from requirements analysis to system launch
• Develop a common target model for PLM processes and data
• Oversee system configuration and integrations, including ERP
• Facilitate workshops and reconcile solutions among companies with different practices
• Advise management on engineering process standardization
• Coordinate engineering, IT, and system provider organizations
• Formulate recommendations and business justifications for management
• Participate in business trips to Group facilities
