Software Engineer III, Cloud AI

Google is a technology company with focus on AI research and cloud computing. The Google Cloud AI Research team works on AI challenges relevant to various industries, collaborating closely with product teams to bring innovations with real-world impact.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Go), or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure including model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, and debugging.
• Preferred experience in developing and deploying applications on cloud infrastructure such as Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience building applications addressing AI safety, data residency, and system integration.
• Familiarity with AI, machine learning, large language models (LLMs), or AI agents.
• Ability to bridge cutting-edge AI technology and real-world use cases outside of Google.
• Demonstrated innovative ideas and rapid execution in AI/ML space.

• Work closely with customers including Antigravity, Gemini Code Assist, Gemini CLI, Android Studio, and others to address their needs and requirements.
• Design and implement the AI Developer Tools Platform and related services under the Gemini Enterprise umbrella.
• Collaborate with teams and functions across Cloud AI and beyond.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Apply innovative AI techniques to increase productivity.
