Software Engineer III, Embedded, Pixel Kernel and Codebase

Google develops next-generation technologies impacting billions of users. The Google Pixel team designs and builds premium mobile devices and services showcasing the Android platform potential. The team focuses on advanced designs integrating AI, software, and hardware to shape the future of Pixel devices and global smartphone experiences.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year with an advanced degree.
• 2 years of experience working with embedded operating systems.

Preferred qualifications:

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• 4 years of experience with software development in C/C++.
• 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
• Experience in development, testing, and deployment of Android Board Support Package (BSP).
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

• Plan, develop, and manage the productive Software Codebase and Infrastructure for various Pixel devices.
• Engage and integrate new Android and Kernel features into Pixel devices for customers.
