Mid-Level DevOps Engineer – Cloud Migration and Automation

Our client is a leading financial institution committed to pioneering digital transformation.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or cloud migration projects.
• Strong expertise in CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Rundeck.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes migration, monitoring, and observability tools like OTEL, Elastic, Grafana, and Kibana.
• Knowledge of networking, proxies, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and middleware including Kafka, Solace, IBM MQ, and NGINX.
• Practical scripting skills in Python and Bash for automation workflows.
• Broad experience across enterprise infrastructure, cloud, storage, security, and operating systems including Linux RHEL, Windows, and Azure.

Nice to have:

• Certifications in cloud platforms or DevOps methodologies.
• Experience applying AI tools like GitHub Copilot to operational workflows.

• Accelerate migration of applications to private cloud using standardized platforms, automation, and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement resilient, high-performance solutions enhancing reliability and operational efficiency.
• Automate manual, repetitive tasks in provisioning, deployment, and support to increase automation coverage.
• Develop proactive capacity planning models to ensure scalability and performance.
• Analyze operational metrics, refine SLIs/SLOs, and reduce incident recurrence via root cause analysis.
• Promote continuous delivery standards to minimize release-related incidents and support agile deployment pipelines.
• Utilize AI-assisted engineering tools for troubleshooting, scripting, monitoring, and documentation.
• Lead and support training initiatives to align team skills with evolving cloud and automation technologies.
