Senior IT System Analyst with German | f/m/d

• Fluent in English and German
• At least 5 years of experience in software development domain as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or similar role
• Willingness to team with Project Manager, sharing responsibility for chasing and escalating tasks/issues related to requirements
• Ability to stand in for Project Manager in related responsibilities
• Understanding of software development lifecycle with proven experience in end-to-end software project delivery
• Ability to discuss and propose solutions to technical aspects of software delivery
• Experience in preparing estimations with Development Team
• Experience managing requirements in large corporate projects
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills able to handle ambiguity
• Proactive and comfortable dealing with senior decision makers
• Team player with ability to collaborate positively and professionally in an international context
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Practical experience with team collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence
• Willingness to travel to European branch locations of ERGO and Munich RE

Nice to have:

• Experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain and with Directory Service e.g. Active Directory or Entra ID
• ITIL certification or willingness to obtain
• Knowledge or working experience of Scrum methodology

• Work closely with multiple stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define current business processes and requirements
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications
• Create detailed outcomes of business analysis processes highlighting problems and opportunities
• Support the Project Manager in delivering projects on time and budget following project methodologies
• Track, report, and resolve issues preventing requirements realization
• Communicate project plans, status, risks, and issues to stakeholders timely and precisely
• Support user participation in deployments and implementations
• Provide traceability of requirements and change requests, tracking their delivery
• Assist with business testing preparation and execution to ensure solutions meet business expectations
• Create product documentation necessary for maintenance and support
• Elicit and validate product requirements, translating them into Product Backlog items and tasks
• Monitor completeness and quality of business requirements
• Collaborate with the Development Team on estimations
• Identify dependencies and blockers impacting project scope
• Partner in discussions with Project Manager, Development Team, and Architects
• Support Business Process Owner, IT Product Manager, Delivery Team, and Project Manager during Agile increment planning
• Be responsible for product validation and support stakeholders during testing phase
