Change and Configuration Manager

The client is a global technology leader delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive market. The organization focuses on development of advanced eMobility solutions and plays a key role in the global transformation toward electric and hybrid vehicles. The position is offered by Jit Team, a Polish company employing over 770 experts and engaging in various charitable and educational activities.

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with focus on electric drive systems, power electronics, and/or motors; Master's degree preferred
• Experience in Systems engineering
• Experience in managing engineering products
• Experience with EIA-649C, A-SPICE, and relevant industry processes
• Understanding of hybrid and electric vehicle systems and their tradeoffs
• Understanding of power electronics, electric motors, and controls is an asset
• Knowledge of Polarion, JIRA, or similar tools
• Understanding of engineering interrelations with other organizational functions
• Engineering management skills including effort estimation and work tracking
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills
• Ability to coach people and foster a team approach
• Experience working globally with multiple regions and cultures
• Willingness for occasional domestic and international travel

• Develop, maintain, and ensure adherence to configuration management plans
• Execute configuration management processes according to the process framework
• Identify configuration items, create product structure, define system release configurations
• Interface with customer and internal functions to establish configuration item reviews and baselines
• Assist project leads in preparing initial project infrastructure
• Maintain configuration management infrastructure and documentation
• Track, evaluate, and report configuration management status
• Execute product configuration management from requirement analysis through product delivery
• Implement internal and external change management activities according to process framework
• Manage all project change management activities
• Decide on change requests and track them to resolution
• Communicate change request status and close out requests
• Participate in internal and external international project teams
• Support production during integration phase
• Review process effectiveness and efficiency
• Perform process audits and drive continual process improvement

Position requires occasional domestic and international travel.
