Backend Developer (.NET) in the EU

The customer is a large international organization in the insurance and risk protection domain, serving individual and corporate clients globally. The project focuses on developing a modern digital insurance technology platform supporting the end-to-end insurance lifecycle with scalable, secure, and reusable APIs and digital services.

• 3+ years hands-on experience with .NET (v6+), including .NET 8.
• Strong understanding of Clean Architecture principles and separation of business logic.
• Hands-on experience with ITemporalClient, IWorkflow, IActivity, and task queue registration.
• Strong experience with Azure services including Key Vault, Managed Identity, Blob Storage, and Application Insights.
• Experience with structured error-handling patterns and familiarity with Result/Maybe patterns.
• Strong knowledge of Entity Framework Core, including migrations and domain-driven design concepts.
• Hands-on experience with automated testing using xUnit, FakeItEasy, and Shouldly.
• Strong experience with containerized local development using Docker or Podman.
• Good understanding of Dockerfiles and multi-stage builds.
• Experience with running and troubleshooting local development stacks involving Temporal and databases.
• English language proficiency at Intermediate+ level or above.

• Designing and building .NET 8 microservices using FastEndpoints and clean architecture.
• Implementing Temporal workflow orchestration, including typed workflow and activity interfaces.
• Building rules evaluation integrations with GoRules ZEN engine.
• Developing platform capabilities like config registry, rules API, workflow gateway, payment and policy adapters.
• Implementing cross-cutting concerns such as Managed Identity service-to-service auth and Cerbos authorization integration.
• Writing and maintaining tests using xUnit, FakeItEasy for mocking, and Shouldly for assertions.
• Collaborating with platform and domain teams on API contracts, OpenAPI specs, and shared NuGet libraries.
