Andersen is hiring a Go Developer for a project developing a global digital platform and delivering scalable backend solutions for the insurance and assistance industry. The customer is an international organization operating in the financial and protection services domain, providing diverse customer-oriented solutions across multiple markets. The project focuses on enhancing a global digital platform supporting travel, automotive, health, and assistance services with scalable, reliable solutions to improve customer experience and streamline operations.

• 5+ years commercial development experience, including 3+ years with Go in production.
• Higher education in Computer Science or related fields.
• Extensive experience working with AI and implementing/configuring it in a team.
• Experience in fintech, banking domains with complex integrations.
• Strong hands-on experience with concurrency (goroutines, channels) and production-grade microservice architectures using gRPC.
• Experience containerizing and deploying backend services.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, schema design, query optimization, and migrations.
• Hands-on experience with RabbitMQ or Kafka for asynchronous communication.
• Experience designing and implementing REST APIs.
• Practice writing unit and integration tests for backend services.
• Experience instrumenting services with Grafana and Prometheus.
• Designing scalable, highly available systems for high-throughput real-time workloads.
• Active participation in code reviews emphasizing quality and knowledge sharing.
• Ownership mindset for backend components lifecycle.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Understanding of fault-tolerant design, idempotency, SLA considerations, and service reliability.
• English level Upper-Intermediate or above.

Nice to have:

• Experience in insurance or other regulated domains.
• Familiarity with data privacy/compliance standards (GDPR, PCI DSS).
• Understanding of core insurance concepts such as policies, underwriting, and claims lifecycle.

• Building and evolving a real-time cross-selling platform for personalized offers in an insurance context.
• Owning backend powering multiple user-facing apps using a gRPC-based microservice architecture.
• Designing and maintaining REST/gRPC APIs for integration with core insurance platforms and third-party services.
• Modeling and managing transactional data (policies, claims, customer records) with PostgreSQL.
• Implementing event-driven workflows using RabbitMQ or Kafka for claims events, policy updates, and notifications.
• Writing and maintaining unit and integration tests, especially for monetary calculations and claims accuracy.
• Instrumenting services with Grafana/Prometheus for monitoring critical flows.
• Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Taking proactive responsibility for platform design emphasizing scalability, availability, and resilience.
• Collaborating with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Contributing to architectural decisions balancing flexibility and maintainability.
