Technical Product Owner (f/m/x)

The project focuses on implementing a modernized Point of Sales (POS) system across sites of a global retailer. The role is based in Warsaw and involves driving digitalization projects that enhance operational efficiency and customer experience. The position offers a hybrid work environment with 2 days a week in the Warsaw office.

• At least 5 years of IT experience, including 2 years as a Product Owner/Manager
• Strong experience in Business analysis
• Deep understanding of the Product Owner role and responsibilities as outlined in the Scrum Guide
• Proven track record of leading international digitalization projects with high complexity and attention from top management
• Business acumen and analytical mindset, with a keen interest in technology and previous product management experience
• Customer focus and experience in agile projects with dependencies on legacy systems
• Hands-on knowledge of JIRA and Atlassian Confluence, along with the Software Development Life Cycle
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and planning skills, complemented by critical thinking and decision-making abilities
• Advanced level of both English and Polish

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAFe methodology

• Work with Product Managers and Business Stakeholders to understand needs and priorities
• Drive discussions about expectations and requirements within the Scrum framework
• Ensure teams build the right solutions at the right time
• Understand the domain and provide clear requirements to the team
• Gather requirements and develop necessary models, documents, and specifications for delivery
• Proactively manage the team backlog in terms of priority and scope
• Build strong cooperation with other development teams
