Network Engineer with Juniper - large scale intrastructure (f/m/x)

Sii is hiring a Senior Network Administrator to manage production network platforms, including global Points of Presence (POPs), data centers, and backbone infrastructure, with a focus on network lifecycle management and operational excellence.

• Minimum 5 years experience in a production network environment focusing on operational execution
• Hands-on experience with networking platforms such as Cisco, Juniper, or Arista
• Proficiency in core networking protocols including BGP, OSPF/ISIS, and IPv4/IPv6
• Solid understanding of large-scale network operations, including change management and software upgrades
• Demonstrated ability to manage vendor escalations and coordinate support resolution
• Advanced level of English (C1)

Nice to have:

• Strong organizational and execution skills with attention to detail
• Effective cross-functional communication and collaboration
• Scripting ability in Python or similar
• Familiarity with network automation tools such as Ansible
• Experience improving operational processes by reducing manual steps and increasing repeatability

• Support lifecycle management for production network platforms, including hardware, software, firmware, and operating system versions across global POPs and data centers
• Plan, coordinate, and execute fleet-wide network upgrade initiatives ensuring device qualification and readiness
• Lead infrastructure rollout across global POPs, data centers, and backbone network
• Operate a dedicated lab and test environment for hardware platform validation and automation tooling
• Partner with network engineers and vendors to investigate platform issues, manage support escalations, and document resolutions
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support network scalability, compliance, and operational consistency
• Contribute to runbooks, process documentation, and operational procedures for network changes and lifecycle management
