Solution Architect

• Strong experience in Solution / IT Architecture across integrated IT landscapes rather than a single product or technology stack.
• Solid knowledge of APIs, system integration patterns and data flows.
• Experience working with diverse systems, databases and third-party solutions.
• Strong impact assessment and dependency analysis skills.
• Experience defining target architectures and non-functional requirements, including performance, security, data retention and disaster recovery.
• Good understanding of AI/Data Science capabilities and limitations in data-driven environments.
• Experience leading technical epics and cross-functional workstreams.
• Understanding of validated environments and the impact of architecture decisions on validation documentation.
• English – C1.

Nice to have:

• Experience in Pharma, Biotech or Life Sciences.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Rancher or container platforms.
• Architectural experience with Elasticsearch, Tableau and Snowflake.
• Hands-on development experience is not required, and knowledge of Angular is not necessary.

• Design solution architecture across an integrated landscape of data platforms, web applications and system integrations.
• Define API and integration patterns, including data exchange, system boundaries and interface contract changes.
• Assess the impact of client-side changes across the application and data portfolio, including dependencies, effort and implementation sequence.
• Define target architecture and non-functional requirements, including performance, security, data retention and disaster recovery (RPO/RTO 24h).
• Act as an architectural partner in discussions around AI and Data Science, assessing use cases, feasibility, limitations and potential costs.
• Lead technical epics and break them down into data and application workstreams.
• Work within a validated environment, assessing the impact of architectural decisions on validation documentation and processes.
• Collaborate closely with clients, developers, data teams and other technical stakeholders.
