Senior Business Analyst

• Minimum five (5) years of related systems or business analysis experience.
• Knowledge of software development processes and best practices.
• Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
• Strong technical skills with experience working within software development teams.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience with BDD methodologies and requirement definition.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to understand client requirements and underlying infrastructure, applications, systems, and processes.

Nice to have:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Atlassian systems (Jira and Confluence).
• Knowledge of business-wide applications or IQVIA client-facing applications.
• Knowledge of Phase I-IV clinical trial operations and workflows.
• Expertise in clinical trial management software.
• Knowledge of clinical research, regulatory and compliance requirements such as Good Clinical Practice, HIPAA, GDPR, EMA, GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11.

• Lead efforts to gather, analyze, define, document, and validate software requirements for the clinical platform.
• Engage with key stakeholders to differentiate needs versus wants and document product functionalities.
• Contribute to technical documentation including software design documents, functional specifications, and change requests.
• Create diagrams and visual assets to depict system capabilities and workflows.
• Drive effective planning, reporting, and analysis to internal functions.
• Work at a high technical level throughout most phases of systems analysis considering technology implications.
