IT Senior System Analyst (IT Logistics)

Silky Coders develops IT, e-commerce, and data science solutions for the LPP Group, supporting millions of users daily. The team focuses on IT systems supporting LPP's outbound logistics processes including shipping to stores and e-commerce customers, international transport, courier integrations, invoicing, and external partner data exchange. They operate a distributed ecosystem involving transport, warehouse, invoicing, ERP systems, and integration layers using REST, SOAP, ESB, message brokers, and Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.

• Minimum 4 years of experience in system analysis, IT system design, or technical roles close to development
• Proficient in SQL, capable of complex analytical queries in relational databases
• Experienced in system modeling with Enterprise Architect or similar tools, skilled in UML and BPMN
• Understanding of REST, SOAP, ESB integrations, message queues, and brokers, able to analyze data flows in distributed architectures
• Ability to analyze edge cases, identify inconsistencies and risks, and propose concrete system solutions
• Skilled in creating clear documentation like specifications, AS-IS/TO-BE process descriptions, diagrams, and acceptance criteria
• Familiar with AI tools supporting analytical and technical work, including AI assistants in IDEs and CLIs, MCP, and safe AI usage for code, data, documentation analysis, and task automation
• Responsible, independent, and comfortable collaborating with developers, QA, architects, and Engineering Manager
• Polish language level C1 and English level minimum B2
• Willingness to work in a hybrid model with at least 3 days in office in Gdańsk or Warsaw

Nice to have:

• Experience in logistics, transport, e-commerce, or systems like TMS, WMS, or ERP
• Good knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL and PostgreSQL for data analysis and business logic
• Familiarity with microservice architecture and communication patterns in distributed systems
• Experience with ESB and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Mentoring experience or leading junior analysts
• Knowledge of Scrum/Agile methodologies and working with Jira and Confluence

• Verify and refine business requirements into system requirements and technical solution proposals
• Describe AS-IS and TO-BE processes and assess impact on systems, integrations, and data
• Design system requirements and co-develop technical solutions with the development team
• Create and maintain analytical and technical documentation using Enterprise Architect and Confluence
• Model processes, data flows, and system behaviors in UML and BPMN
• Analyze and design synchronous and asynchronous system integrations internally and with external partners
• Analyze data in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases and verify system logic based on SQL, documentation, and technical sources
• Identify process and system bottlenecks and propose improvements
• Collaborate with business users, key users, project managers, architects, developers, testers, and external partners
• Actively influence analysis standards and solution quality in outbound logistics area
