Tech Lead / Solution Architect

Euvic S.A. is a large IT company with over 5000 employees and 20 years of experience. The offered position is in the Managed Team working on a strategic platform called Spare Parts Catalogue, a long-standing product used in multiple countries to support searching and identifying spare parts for devices from various brands.

• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in software engineering
• Experience in roles such as Tech Lead, Lead Architect, or Solution Architect
• Experience modernizing legacy systems
• Experience working with external suppliers/partners (vendor management)
• Very good knowledge of web and distributed application architectures
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably Azure
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD, GitHub, Jenkins (or similar tools)
• Experience defining standards for code quality, testing, and security
• Ability to evaluate architecture, make technology decisions, lead modernization, and transfer knowledge
• Very good command of English

Nice to have:

• JavaScript, TypeScript
• Flutter or other mobile application development
• Go or PHP
• Experience with infrastructure and repository migrations
• Knowledge of German language

• Taking over technical knowledge from the current supplier and building a trust-based relationship
• Preparing the current system architecture overview
• Identifying technical risks and assessing the modernization backlog
• Recommending the target technology stack
• Defining standards for code quality, testing, and security
• Representing the client's interests and challenging supplier's technical decisions when needed
• Leading a multi-year process of reducing technical debt and modernizing infrastructure

During the recruitment process, identity verification will be required in later stages. The first day of work will be onsite at one of the Euvic offices for onboarding and equipment pickup.
