Ruby on Rails – Junior/Middle

SOFTSWISS is hiring a Ruby on Rails Engineer to join the Casino Platform team. The product is the SOFTSWISS Casino Platform, a full-service modular software platform to manage online casino operations. The role supports and improves backend systems for operators and players across the platform, enhancing reliability and automating workflows.

• 1+ years of experience in development or L3 support
• Strong Ruby/RoR programming skills
• Good knowledge of SQL
• Exceptional abilities in investigating, debugging, analysis, and problem-solving
• Understanding of modern web architecture and networking concepts
• Familiarity with Linux, Bash, and Git
• Willingness for continuous self-development and knowledge sharing
• Intermediate or higher English and Russian (B1+)
• Awareness of modern AI tools

• Investigate and fix product issues together with the professional team, focusing on prevention
• Automate manual and repetitive customer requests and routine operations
• Continuously grow knowledge on supported products and new technologies

Nice to have:

• Experience with logging systems like ELK, and monitoring systems like Sentry and Datadog
• Experience with event streaming systems and message brokers
• Experience working with K8S
• Proficiency in automating routine tasks through scripting and tools such as Jenkins/Airflow
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis processes
