ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S S.A.) was established in January 2021 following the integration of ERGO Digital IT and Atena into one entity, leveraging both companies' strengths and best practices. As part of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG, the technology holding of ERGO Group AG, they support millions of internal and external customers with state-of-the-art IT solutions. In October 2022, ET&S S.A. expanded its scope by creating a Business Services unit to contribute to ERGO's growth, offering skills in reporting, analysis, actuarial, and input management as an internal consultant. They implement AI, IoT, Voice Recognition, Big Data science, advanced mobile solutions, and business-related services to meet future client needs.

• Fluent English (C1+)
• Master's or higher degree in a quantitative or technical field such as Mathematics, Informatics, Natural Sciences, or Engineering
• Strong hands-on programming experience; knowledge of Python; knowledge of Kubernetes (K8s) is a plus
• Experience with NLP tasks and unstructured data
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and tools supporting scalable model deployment (e.g., MLOps, Docker, Git)
• Sharp analytical and conceptual skills with a structured problem-solving approach
• Experience working in high-performance, cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments
• Project Management experience
• Proven ability to distil complexity and communicate insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable working at the interface of business, data, and technology
• Proactive mindset with ownership from idea to implementation

Optional:

• Knowledge of German (B1+)
• Experience with Large Language Models and Generative AI in business settings
• Exposure to agile working methods and cross-functional product teams
• Understanding of SQL, data pipelines, and basic software engineering principles
• Certifications or formal training in AI/ML or cloud environments (e.g., Azure, AWS, Databricks)

• Collaborating with business and tech teams to translate ideas into data- and AI-driven solutions
• Developing and deploying machine learning and NLP models using modern tools and methods
• Preparing structured and unstructured data for analysis and modelling
• Creating visual and analytical outputs that support decision-making and tell compelling data stories
