Senior Software Engineer (Java + Neo4j)

Sopra Steria is one of the largest tech companies in Europe with over 55,000 employees across nearly 30 countries. The Polish branch in Katowice operates as a Global Delivery Center since 2007 with around 1,000 specialists. The Digital Platform Services department focuses on cloud, operating systems, virtualization, databases, backup, storage, networking, and security. The Application Services department handles software development, data engineering, testing, CRM, ITSM, ERP integrations, and application management for clients mainly in Scandinavia, Benelux, France, Germany, Switzerland, and the UK.

• 4+ years of commercial experience in a senior or senior-ready role
• Strong experience with Java versions 8–21 and newer
• Hands-on knowledge of Neo4j versions 4.4 – 5.X
• Knowledge of Spring 5.2 and Spring Boot 2.3
• Experience with Elasticsearch versions 7.17 – 8.X
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Strong communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
• Proactive and detail-oriented
• Ability to document processes and share knowledge effectively
• English at B2 level or higher
• Willingness for occasional business trips abroad and regular visits to Katowice office
