System Test Engineer

The client is a global technology leader delivering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for the automotive market. The organization focuses on advanced eMobility solutions and plays a key role in the global transformation toward electric and hybrid vehicles. The project involves an international engineering team developing next-generation Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV) solutions, including testing power electronics inverters using Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) environments.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related field
• Basic knowledge of microcontroller hardware, electric motors, automotive electronics, and electrical circuits
• Understanding of automotive communication protocols, including CAN
• Good knowledge of C and Python, basic understanding of MATLAB/Simulink and Simscape models
• Familiarity with tools such as CANoe, CANape, TraceTronic ECU-Test, NI VeriStand, TestStand, ControlDesk NG, ConfigurationDesk NG, Jira, Polarion, Plastic SCM, and Bitbucket
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and ISO 21434 (Cybersecurity) is an advantage
• Experience working with internal and external stakeholders
• Knowledge of AUTOSAR concepts and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing is a plus
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in English is required; German and/or French are advantages
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
• Openness to working second-shift hours

• Analyze system and design requirements and translate them into test strategies and test cases following ASPICE processes
• Prepare and maintain HIL-based test plans for system, integration, and functional verification
• Design and execute System Qualification Tests, Hardware-Software Integration Tests, and System Element Integration Tests
• Perform test execution, analyze results, and ensure adequate test coverage
• Identify, document, and track hardware and software defects through resolution
• Collaborate closely with development teams to investigate issues and validate fixes
• Support release activities by preparing release verification tests and test summary reports
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing methods, tools, and processes

Candidates must be located in Kraków and able to work the second shift from 16:00 to 22:00, with approximately 3 days per week in the office (about 8 days home office monthly). Availability ASAP is important.
