Associate Commercial Counsel (English)

This role is part of Google's legal team advising on Cloud products and services across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) and the United States. The position involves working with various Google offices including London, Dubai, Hamburg, Madrid, Paris, Milan, Amsterdam, and Warsaw.

• JD, LL.B., equivalent degree, or equivalent practical experience.
• Admitted to the bar and authorized to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction.
• Minimum 3 years of attorney-level experience in government, in-house, or law firm environments.
• Experience counseling and negotiating professional services, security, or cloud commercial offerings.
• Fluent English language communication skills.
• Preferred: Experience managing complex IT-law projects, technology agreements, and cloud computing transactions.
• Understanding of cloud computing, IT extended workforce, procurement, professional services, and data privacy regulations.
• Ability to work collaboratively, travel, and operate in an international company environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.

• Advise EMEA Cloud Consulting (GCC), Forward Deployed Engineers (FDE), and Security Sales teams on strategy and legal compliance.
• Draft templates, terms, playbooks, and create enablement materials to accelerate consulting and FDE engagements.
• Train and enable sellers, legal colleagues, and stakeholders to support agreement making effectively.
• Support and negotiate general Cloud Go-To-Market needs.
• Respond to legal requests from Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Product, and other Google business clients and legal colleagues across EMEA and the United States.
• Advise on compliance of Google products with specific local laws.
• Support litigation cases and regulatory investigations as needed.
• Develop deep experience in various Google products and build relationships with business and legal teams internationally.
