DevOps Engineer in the EU

Andersen is hiring a DevOps Engineer in the EU for a project developing a modern digital insurance platform and delivering scalable, secure infrastructure for API-driven services. The customer is a large international organization in the insurance and risk protection domain with a strong global presence and diversified insurance solutions. The project focuses on developing and enhancing a scalable, secure, API-driven digital insurance platform covering the full lifecycle of insurance products.

• Hands-on DevOps/SRE experience for 5+ years.
• Strong experience with GitHub (Actions, repositories) and Jenkins, including declarative and scripted pipeline development.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, including image creation, multi-stage builds, and container registries.
• Strong knowledge of Azure, including compute, networking, storage, Key Vault, and monitoring services.
• Experience with Kubernetes, including deployments, services, ingress, Helm charts, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Azure Application Insights, including metrics, dashboards, and alerting.
• Proficiency in Bash, PowerShell, or Python scripting for automation.
• Solid understanding of Git branching strategies and release workflows.
• Strong debugging skills across build, deploy, and runtime layers.
• Level of English – Intermediate+ and above.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Terraform or Bicep (Infrastructure as Code).
• Experience with Azure DevOps or Service Bus.
• Experience with microservices architectures.
• Experience with security scanning integration in pipelines (SAST/container scanning).

• Designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub.
• Containerizing applications with Docker; managing image lifecycle and registries.
• Deploying, operating, and scaling workloads on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS).
• Managing Azure cloud infrastructure including networking, storage, IAM, and monitoring.
• Automating build, test, and release processes end-to-end.
• Troubleshooting production issues across deployment pipeline and cluster.
• Implementing infrastructure as code and enforcing environment consistency.
• Collaborating with development teams to improve deployability and release velocity.
