Signal Processing & Data Analysis Specialist (f/m/x)

Sii Polska is hiring for a Signal Processing & Data Analysis Specialist position in their Data Science team. The role involves providing technical guidance to migration, engineering, and clinical teams for algorithm behavior and output validation.

• Minimum 5 years of experience with algorithm or software validation and developing data comparison or reconciliation workflows using large tabular or CSV datasets.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, Data Science, or related quantitative field.
• Solid understanding of digital signal processing and time-series analysis.
• Proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries like SciPy, NumPy, and pandas.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders outside the specialty.
• Advanced level of English.
• Residency in Poland.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with database migrations or platform equivalency testing.
• Experience with high-frequency sensor data.

• Provide technical guidance on signal processing to migration, engineering, and clinical teams, ensuring shared understanding of algorithm behavior and expected output characteristics.
• Analyze datasets to identify deviations, edge cases, and anomalies, applying statistical methods to assess discrepancies.
• Deconstruct existing signal processing algorithms and produce clear documentation to support validation and knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to designing validation frameworks and test cases, defining tolerance thresholds and acceptance criteria.
• Develop and execute CSV-based comparison workflows to verify algorithmic output consistency and quantify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with data migration specialists and engineers to resolve data-integrity issues, ensuring all deviations are documented and traceable.

Must be resident in Poland.
