Software QA Engineer, IQVIA Digital

The Technology team designs, develops, and operates platforms, data infrastructure, and AI-enabled technologies powering IQVIA Digital's solutions, focusing on healthcare data assets and privacy-by-design principles.

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum three years of experience in Quality Assurance and software testing.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and testing practices.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Experience creating and executing test plans, cases, scripts, and defect reports.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Experience using Jira for defect tracking and Agile project collaboration.
• Experience with API testing using Postman and Swagger, validating REST and SOAP services.
• Experience testing applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with database testing and data integrity validation.
• Experience with test automation tools and frameworks.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and quality engineering best practices.

• Analyze business and functional requirements to derive comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
• Execute testing procedures to ensure applications and services meet quality standards.
• Define and maintain master test plans for projects including strategy, scope, and schedule.
• Execute manual and automated test scripts and document results and defects.
• Analyze test results and review test documentation for adequate coverage.
• Conduct risk assessments during testing cycles and provide lessons learned summaries.
• Read and interpret business requirements, functional specifications, and technical design documents.
• Develop detailed testing documentation using established standards.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Communicate testing progress, risks, and recommendations clearly to management and customers.
