Business IT Consultant – Financial Services / Insurance Team

The role is within Accenture's Insurance Poland practice, supporting insurance and financial services organizations in Poland and Europe in business model and technology transformations.

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Business Analysis, Business Design, business transformation, or project-related roles.
• Basic understanding of the Polish insurance market, including trends, products, and business processes.
• Good understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience in business process analysis, process design, improvement, and system implementation.
• Strong understanding of Business Design principles with ability to translate challenges into solutions.
• Knowledge of project management and delivery methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid.
• Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work across different stakeholder groups effectively.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with business and IT stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools like JIRA and Confluence.
• Professional working proficiency in Polish and English at C1 level or above.
• Master’s Degree in a relevant field.
• Full-time availability Monday to Friday.

• Previous experience in insurance sector or financial services consulting/implementation.
• Experience with insurance core systems or back-office platforms.
• Experience working with senior business and IT stakeholders.
• Experience in Business Model Strategy and Target Operating Model design.
• Experience supporting technology-enabled transformations including AI and Generative AI solutions.

• Conduct business analysis and business design activities such as requirements definition, business process analysis, process mapping, and functional gap analysis.
• Analyze current business, operational, and IT processes to identify opportunities for improvement and transformation.
• Design new and improved business and IT processes tailored to client requirements.
• Develop solutions using established consulting methodologies, tools, and assets.
• Support transformation initiatives across insurance value chain areas including distribution, products, claims, operations, and core insurance systems.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to gather requirements and support decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across multiple teams for alignment and execution of initiatives.
• Support the design of target operating models, IT/business models, and future-state processes.
• Contribute to business case development and recommendations for transformation options.
• Support projects throughout the Software Development Life Cycle from analysis to testing.
• Maintain structured project communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
