Product Engineer

The client is a global automotive company specializing in the design and manufacture of innovative components and systems for leading vehicle manufacturers. With a broad network of production facilities and engineering centers across multiple countries, the organization operates in a highly international environment. The company focuses on innovation, quality, and continuous process improvement to support the development of modern mobility solutions.

• 4 years experience in automotive product engineering or 7 years in automotive production engineering.
• Bachelor or diploma in automotive, plastics, or mechanical engineering.
• Knowledge of customer requirements and manufacturing processes.
• Fluent English; Polish and German are a plus.
• FMEA training or equivalent experience.
• Technical skills in GD&T, DFM, DFA, CAE/FEA, CAD, FMEA, DVP&R.
• Experience with cradle-to-grave project management including process and tool maturation and program launch.
• Desirable experience in surface development.
• Familiarity with major CAD systems for automotive design.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Adaptability to work locations including business travel.

• Monitor and develop product changes initiated by customers or the design team, translating them into production with quality and cost control.
• Plan, organize, and conduct activities to achieve the objectives of Inteva Products Engineering Europe and the company.
• Report deviations from standards and take corrective actions.
• Support customer, supplier, and manufacturing plant liaison.
• Support design considerations including design for assembly (DFA), design for manufacture (DFM), Quality Functional Deployment (QFD), CAE simulations (MoldFlow, FEA), element analysis data, and dimensional variation analysis.
• Support tooling milestones, sign-off, and shipping to manufacturing destinations.
• Support engineering aspects of customer part approval (PPAP) and tool trials.
• Ensure process robustness prior to tool shipment.
• Provide cost-effective solutions and support technical purchase issues.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) programs following Inteva Products APQP system.
• Support serial projects, engineering changes planning, VAVE activities, cost estimates, and CAD data reviews.
• Develop prototypes and participate in validation and internal improvement projects.
• Execute PE activities within APQP, including BOM systems, test and verification reports, and FMEAs.
• Comply with EHS procedures regarding health, safety, and environmental protection.
