Andersen is hiring a Lead DevOps Engineer for a project modernizing CI/CD processes and enhancing a cloud-based software quality platform with scalable public API capabilities. The customer is a technology-driven software quality services provider supporting web, mobile, and digital solutions across multiple industries. The project focuses on preparing a cloud-based software quality platform for public API exposure and modernizing CI/CD processes by migrating from CircleCI to GitHub Actions.
Wymagania
- 7+ years of experience in DevOps or Platform Engineering with strong hands-on expertise in AWS.
- Deep knowledge of Amazon ECS/Fargate, including Service Connect, Graviton/multi-architecture builds, cluster design, ALB/NLB, target groups, and deployment strategies.
- Strong release engineering and production change experience including zero-downtime deployments, blue/green, canary rollouts, health checks, automated rollback, and release governance.
- Extensive hands-on experience with GitHub Actions, reusable workflows, composite actions, and OIDC/IAM integration.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
- Experience with New Relic Synthetics or similar observability platforms like Datadog or Grafana.
- Experience integrating Snyk and SonarQube into CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with OpenAPI tooling and docs-as-code pipelines.
- Strong ownership and autonomy with minimal supervision.
- Excellent technical judgment and communication skills for risk assessment and decision-making.
- Kubernetes experience not required; platform is based on ECS/Fargate.
- English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or above.
Nice to have:
- Experience with API documentation and developer portal tools like Stoplight Elements or ReadMe.
- Experience with status-page platforms such as Atlassian Statuspage or Better Stack.
- Hands-on experience migrating CI/CD pipelines from CircleCI to GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with OpenTelemetry.
- Experience with AWS Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as CloudFormation and SAM.
- Experience with AI-assisted development workflows, including review and validation of AI-generated output.
Obowiązki
- Build and maintain the public API documentation pipeline, including OpenAPI specification aggregation, validation, bundling, and publishing with Stoplight Elements.
- Integrate documentation pipelines into GitHub Actions reusable workflows.
- Evaluate, recommend, and implement a public status page using New Relic Synthetics with component-level alert policies and incident workflows.
- Manage monitoring and alerting infrastructure as code using Terraform, following existing conventions.
- Support live production changes and migrations on AWS ECS Fargate, including service migrations and load balancer changes with minimal downtime.
- Own release engineering: design and manage safe, repeatable release processes, including deployment strategies, health checks, automated rollback, and release governance.
- Contribute to migration from CircleCI to GitHub Actions across multiple repositories.
- Embed security and quality gates into CI/CD pipelines using Snyk and SonarQube for SAST, dependency/vulnerability scanning, and code quality.
- Work closely with development teams and lead a dedicated DevOps team focused on client-facing products.
- Take ownership of tasks end-to-end from problem definition to production deployment.
- Make independent technical decisions with clear communication of trade-offs and ensure reliable production execution.
