Orange Innovation Polska builds together with a partner a system for quantum key exchange QKD. The project is concluding with a pilot deployment at a client. The area of work is development of KME (Key Management Entity), a component responsible for secure management and distribution of cryptographic keys generated by the quantum link.
Wymagania
- Minimum 3 years experience in backend development with Python
- Experience in designing and implementing REST API
- Knowledge of applied cryptography, including key lifecycle, AES, TLS, PKI, and authentication
- Working knowledge of relational databases (SQL)
- Familiarity with Git and Docker
- Ability to work with security requirements and technical documentation
- Fluent Polish and good English (B2 level)
Nice to have:
- Experience programming in C++, especially low-level device integrations
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with Kubernetes and CI/CD processes
- Familiarity with ETSI GS QKD 014 standard, especially Key Delivery API
- Experience with HSM, PKCS#11, or KMS-class systems
- Knowledge of gRPC and basics of Quantum Key Distribution (QKD)
- Experience in R&D projects or telecommunications industry
Obowiązki
- Designing and implementing KME compliant with ETSI GS QKD 014 (Key Delivery API)
- Implementing secure key lifecycle: reception, storage, distribution, deletion
- Integrating with quantum layer devices and network encryptors
- Optimizing key distribution performance for high volumes of AES-256 keys
- Writing unit and integration tests and participating in security tests
- Supporting pilot deployment at the client
