Full Stack Developer (Python/React)

Andersen is hiring a Full Stack Developer (Python/React) in the EU for a project developing a scalable GRC SaaS platform and enhancing compliance management solutions. The customer is a European technology company providing software solutions that help organizations manage and streamline complex business and regulatory processes across different sizes of companies. The project is focused on developing and enhancing a modular Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) SaaS platform supporting information security, risk management, business continuity, and data protection processes, targeting public sector organizations and large enterprises.

• Experience in backend engineering with a strong track record of delivering production projects for 4+ years.
• Strong full-stack production experience with React, Django, Django REST Framework, and TypeScript.
• Experience with JSON Schema and config-driven UI patterns for building or maintaining interfaces driven by structured configuration.
• Solid backend fundamentals including relational data modeling, REST API design, serializers, validation, and clean data contracts.
• Strong automated testing habits, particularly with pytest, to build reliable and maintainable test coverage.
• Comfort working in a large, mature codebase, quickly understanding existing architecture, conventions, and patterns.
• English language proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or above.

Nice to have:

• Deep expertise in Django REST Framework, ideally with hands-on experience building or maintaining multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Working knowledge of React/TypeScript to confidently navigate and contribute to the frontend codebase.
• Experience with schema- or metadata-driven architectures, especially JSON Schema and configuration-driven approaches.
• Experience or familiarity with GRC/compliance domain workflows such as governance, risk, compliance, controls, and audits.

• Extend the generic React/TypeScript interpreter and component catalogue to support new field types, layouts, and actions for migrating modules.
• Implement frontend support for the view-descriptor contract defined by the backend team.
• Gradually transition toward backend work as frontend efforts decrease.
• Handle backend tasks on simpler modules under Lead/Backend guidance and contribute to the schema/view-descriptor layer.
• Work closely with the Lead on aligning schema, actions, and permissions across backend/frontend boundaries.
• Support contract testing from the frontend side against golden fixtures.
