System Analyst/Data Analyst (GCP Migration) - Customer Value and Digital Engagement Department

T-Mobile is seeking an experienced analyst to join their Data Enablement team to support a large strategic program migrating data products from an existing Oracle/Hadoop platform to Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a system analyst, data analyst, or related role.
• Good knowledge of Oracle, SQL, and Hadoop environments.
• Ability to read and analyze complex SQL queries and ETL logic.
• Experience in migration projects or data warehouse reorganizations is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of the GCP ecosystem, including BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Composer.
• Soft skills: end-to-end analysis capabilities, independence, proactivity, technical documentation proficiency, and teamwork in interdisciplinary groups.

• Analyze existing data products in Oracle and Hadoop environments (data structures, ETL logic, dependencies).
• Document data flows and recommend ways to migrate them to GCP.
• Collaborate with teams of architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders.
• Create functional and technical specifications for new solutions on GCP.
• Support the design and testing process after migration.
• Participate in defining good migration practices.
• Monitor data quality and assist in problem resolution.
