C Software Developer

Ericsson operates in telecommunications and develops technology projects including 3G, 4G, 5G, and 6G.

• Strong software engineering skills with ability to write qualitative code in C or Golang; knowledge of Python and Java is a plus.
• Familiarity with LTE and 5G network standards and protocols, including physical layer (Layer 1) specifications.
• Knowledge of RF propagation, modulation schemes, and signal processing.
• Understanding of embedded systems and software-hardware interaction.
• Experience with multi-core/multithreaded processor programming and parallel processing.
• MSc or BSc degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Computer Science.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
• Positive, creative attitude and willingness to continuously learn and improve.

• Develop and maintain software for a UE Simulator related to Layer 1 of LTE and 5G networks.
• Write qualitative code primarily using C.
• Develop test cases to validate simulator accuracy and reliability.
• Work with multi-core and multithreading processor programming to efficiently simulate multiple data link connections.
• Collaborate closely in a diverse team with short feedback loops.
• Participate in analysis, system design, pre-development, and incremental implementation.
