QA Automation Engineer

Wakacje.pl is Poland's largest e-commerce platform and network of travel agencies offering a wide range of travel products. It has been part of Wirtualna Polska Holding since 2015 and provides thousands of domestic and international trips, travel insurance, airport parking, and holiday vouchers. The IT team consists of over 100 specialists including Developers, DevOps Engineers, Testers, Project Managers, Architects, and Analysts working in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

• Practical experience with Java programming including OOP concepts.
• Minimum 2 years automating UI tests with Selenium.
• Experience with API testing using tools like RestAssured.
• Practical knowledge of Chrome DevTools for network and debugging analysis.
• Knowledge of SQL for test data preparation and validation.
• Proficiency with Git including branching, merge requests, and code review.
• Experience with Maven build tool.
• Experience working in Scrum teams.
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts and integration with tools like Jenkins and GitLab.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Hands-on experience with Cucumber and JUnit frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience with Playwright.
• Basic knowledge of Docker.
• Experience in web accessibility testing (WCAG standards).
• Experience in performance testing with JMeter DSL.

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests for the main e-commerce platform (Web and API).
• Writing and executing automated test scenarios using Java, Selenium, RestAssured, and Playwright.
• Performing manual exploratory testing when needed.
• Creating and maintaining test documentation, test cases, and bug reports.
• Identifying, reporting, and tracking defects in collaboration with development teams.
• Contributing to test strategy and improving test coverage.
• Participating in team work planning and test effort estimation.
• Analyzing test results and reporting quality metrics.
• Collaborating with developers, QA engineers, and business teams during the development lifecycle.
• Sharing testing knowledge and improving team quality practices.
