Full Stack Engineer

Our client is a global financial institution with an established market position seeking a Full-Stack Engineer to play a key role in modernizing the Eagle Accounting system capabilities.

• Higher education in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 7 years of experience designing and developing large, distributed IT systems.
• Very good practical knowledge of Java and API-based backend services.
• Experience working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and corporate data platforms.
• Experience designing, creating, testing, deploying, and maintaining production services.
• Knowledge of cloud or hybrid environments, preferably Microsoft Azure and on-premises platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD processes, DevOps practices, automated testing, and modern engineering tools.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with geographically distributed teams.
• Very good communication skills with ability to clearly explain technical decisions, design trade-offs, and risks.
• Mentoring skills including participation in design reviews, code reviews, delivery planning, and production readiness assessment.

Nice to have:

• Experience in financial services, investment accounting, asset servicing, data platforms, or transaction processing systems.
• Experience with Oracle, Snowflake, or similar corporate data platforms.
• Experience with Python, TypeScript/Angular, Kafka, Spark, or technologies used in streaming and distributed data processing.
• Experience modernizing legacy systems to cloud and API-first architecture.
• Experience using AI-supported tools in the software lifecycle.
• Experience building or integrating applications using artificial intelligence.

• Modernize the Eagle Accounting platform by creating scalable services supporting high-volume accounting and data processing.
• Build a multi-tenant, cloud-based accounting platform capable of real-time and batch data processing.
• Design, create, test, deploy, and maintain highly scalable API services primarily using Java, with SQL and NoSQL databases, hosted in Microsoft Azure and on-premises environments.
• Transform legacy system features into modern cloud services based on API-first architecture.
• Provide technical leadership in design, deployment, testing, release, and production support.
• Mentor engineers to maintain high standards of quality, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.
• Develop software emphasizing reliability, observability, auditability, data quality, and operational control in a highly regulated financial services environment.
• Enhance platform reliability through monitoring, observability, system resilience, and production support practices.
• Work in an Agile environment following team architectural standards and best engineering practices.
• Lead design discussions and support teams in making practical architectural decisions aligned with long-term engineering strategy.
• Take full responsibility for code, from conception and implementation through production support and optimization.
• Collaborate with Product Management, UX, clients, operations, architects, and global engineering teams to translate accounting and data business requirements into secure, maintainable technical solutions.
• Support fast and high-quality delivery through mature CI/CD processes, automation, reuse patterns, and DevOps ecosystem.
• Use AI-supported tools responsibly to accelerate design, programming, testing, documentation, and troubleshooting with high standards of security, quality, and code review.
