Java Developer in the EU

Andersen is hiring a Java Developer for a project modernizing a digital banking platform and supporting a large-scale transformation of financial services. The customer is a financial services organization providing banking products and digital solutions for individual and business clients, operating through a service network and online platforms, and part of a larger international financial group. The project focuses on defining a structured architecture roadmap including platform modernization, API governance, security, data and analytics, system decoupling, and phased migration of business capabilities to support future digital development.

• Experience as Java Developer for 4+ years.
• Strong APIM skills and hands-on experience.
• Ability to mentor and train other engineers.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to drive initiatives independently.
• Strong client-facing communication skills.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
• Level of English – from Upper-Intermediate and above.

• Trebble experience.

• Defining the target Azure API Management architecture and its integration with AKS, Camunda, backend services, and on-premises systems.
• Setting up and configuring APIM environments, APIs, products, subscriptions, backends, routing, certificates, private connectivity, and identity integrations.
• Designing and implementing reusable APIM policies.
• Establishing API governance standards covering OpenAPI specifications, naming conventions, versioning, API catalogue, ownership, consumer onboarding, and deprecation.
• Supporting the end-to-end implementation of Cash Loan APIs in collaboration with architects, Camunda, DevOps, Security, integration teams, and backend developers.
• Preparing technical documentation, reusable templates, operational runbooks, and providing knowledge transfer to the client’s internal teams.
