Vendor Management Analyst – Technology & Financial Services

This role is within a client’s Chief Technology Office, focusing on vendor lifecycle management in a highly regulated financial services environment.

• 3+ years of experience in vendor management, commercial management, procurement support, or similar roles within financial services or regulated sectors.
• Strong analytical skills to structure ambiguous problems and produce decision-ready insights.
• Good understanding of technology vendor landscapes and contractual elements such as SLAs, licensing, and renewal clauses.
• Experience supporting business case development and benefits tracking.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and governance discipline.
• Financial awareness regarding cost drivers and budgeting principles.
• Competence in data/reporting tools including Excel, PowerPoint, and MI dashboards.

Nice to have:

• Certifications or experience in procurement, vendor management, or financial analysis.
• Knowledge of Python.

• Manage IT spend approval processes for CTO functions and present updates to senior stakeholders.
• Coordinate vendor management analyses to support procurement and budget decisions.
• Support daily vendor lifecycle activities including data collection, benchmarking, and documenting meetings.
• Maintain portfolio trackers and reporting tools ensuring accurate and timely data (renewals, RAID logs, decision points).
• Extract key contractual terms and identify gaps, risks, and remediation actions during contract reviews.
• Partner with Operations and Finance to identify cost-saving opportunities and track benefits.
• Ensure budgets (Run, Change, Transformation) are in place and assist requestors with submission procedures.
• Foster a collaborative team environment through close coordination and responsibility sharing.
