Tech Lead Go Developer

Andersen is hiring a Tech Lead Go Developer for a project developing a scalable digital freight platform to deliver reliable solutions for modern logistics operations. The customer is a global technology company running a large-scale digital platform connecting millions of users through a mobile application with various on-demand services across international markets. The project focuses on developing and enhancing a digital freight transportation platform connecting customers with carriers, optimizing transportation processes, and supporting the freight business growth.

• Commercial Go development experience for 5+ years, including 1–2 years in a technical leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of Go internals: concurrency, goroutines, channels, memory management, and garbage collection.
• Proven experience designing scalable, fault-tolerant, high-load backend systems.
• Strong experience with REST APIs and microservices design, including service decomposition and API contracts.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures.
• Strong SQL knowledge with MySQL or PostgreSQL including transactions, indexes, locking, and query optimization.
• Experience with Redis and caching strategies including cache invalidation for distributed systems.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production, including capacity planning and scaling.
• Experience with Helm charts and Kubernetes configuration management.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions.
• Experience supporting production services including monitoring, alerting, incident investigation, and post-incident analysis.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems and integration patterns, including consistency models, service boundaries, and failure handling.
• English language proficiency from Intermediate+ and above.

• Owning the team's delivery and execution: planning, aligning cross-team dependencies, review processes, and quality.
• Setting the technical direction, running design reviews, ensuring consistency of solutions, contributing to development (~30% hands-on).
• Collaborating with the Product Manager on technical elaboration of ideas and hypotheses before development.
• Developing people through 1:1s, feedback, performance practices, and mentoring.
