Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Shiji Group provides software solutions and services for hospitality, food service, retail, and entertainment industries. The company was founded in 1998, employs 5,000 people across 80+ subsidiaries and brands, and serves hotel, restaurant, and retail clients globally. The team works on Daylight PMS, a distributed system composed of domain-oriented microservices, which supports hotel management activities.

• Minimum 3 years of commercial experience using AWS and Kubernetes
• Minimum 1 year of commercial experience with Terraform
• Experience with GNU Linux
• Experience implementing CI/CD processes using Jenkins or GitLab
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Team player with openness to new technologies and paradigms
• Ability to investigate, analyze information, and draw conclusions
• Drive to solve challenges

Nice to have:

• Certifications in AWS or Kubernetes

• Co-decide on the technological direction of the team
• Design cloud infrastructure including complex solutions with Kubernetes
• Build and maintain the infrastructure
• Ensure the security of the infrastructure
• Mentor less experienced colleagues both technically and non-technically
• Use Kanban and Agile methodologies in daily work
• Manage code repositories and CI/CD processes with GitLab and Jenkins
• Develop deployment solutions for Kubernetes
• Support local development environments with Docker and docker-compose
• Create libraries, tools, and AWS Lambdas using Python
• Automate internal workflows using Docker images
• Apply "Everything as Code" philosophy
• Use tools such as Jira and Confluence for project and knowledge management
