Tier 1: Core Requirements (Must Have):

• Experience building full-stack applications with backend, APIs, and frontend components.
• Strong backend development skills using Python (FastAPI or similar frameworks).
• Frontend experience with React and TypeScript is advantageous.
• Strong hands-on experience with Python and SQL (SQL Server / T-SQL).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs, authentication mechanisms, and Single Sign-On (SSO).
• Experience using Git (GitLab preferred), including code reviews and branching strategies.
• Exposure to integrating AI services such as OpenAI, Azure AI, or Anthropic.
• Experience with practical AI use cases including Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), agent-based solutions, and structured AI workflows/automation pipelines.

Tier 2: Strongly Preferred:

• Advanced Power BI skills including data modelling, DAX development, and performance optimization.
• Experience maintaining and enhancing dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Understanding of modern data architecture (lakehouse and data warehousing).
• Experience building and managing ETL/ELT pipelines and data layers.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server-based data engineering.
• Experience with platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Snowflake, Microsoft Fabric, or Databricks.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab preferred).

Tier 3: Nice to Have:

• Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, Bicep, ARM Templates.
• MLOps, model deployment, and monitoring practices.
• Predictive modelling and machine learning fundamentals.
• Experience with enterprise deployment and application hosting platforms.
• Experience working with life sciences or healthcare data.

Candidate Profile:

• 2 to 4 years experience in software engineering, data engineering, analytics engineering, or related consulting.
• Demonstrated experience in end-to-end applications or data-driven solutions.
• Strong builder mindset, passion for learning, and problem-solving.
• Comfortable in fast-paced, product-oriented environments working with senior technical teams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Application & Solution Development:

• Support the development of end-to-end applications, from data ingestion and backend services to APIs and user-facing products.
• Build and contribute to scalable, production-ready software solutions.
• Take ownership of assigned workstreams from prototype development through production deployment and support.

AI & Automation:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of AI-powered solutions, including LLM-based applications, agentic workflows, and automation tools.
• Support the integration of AI capabilities into commercial and operational processes.

Data & Integration:

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, semantic models, and supporting data assets.
• Integrate systems through APIs and enterprise platforms.
• Collaborate closely with Commercial Operations and Sales teams to deliver high-impact solutions quickly and effectively.
