Senior Cloud Data Engineer – Java, Python, AI

ITDS is offering a Warszawa-based role with a hybrid work model to work on agentic, cloud-native platforms powering regulatory reporting and next-generation operations tooling. The position involves working for a technology-driven enterprise client in Europe.

• Strong server-side Java experience, ideally with Spring Boot microservices.
• Practical exposure to AI/agentic development projects.
• Experience with big data platforms such as Databricks and/or Snowflake.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Kafka in production environments.
• Familiarity with relational databases at scale (e.g., SingleStore) and/or Snowflake for archival/analytics.
• Exposure to agentic development frameworks such as Google ADK or equivalents (e.g., Anthropic's frameworks).
• Comfort using AI coding tools like Claude or Copilot, and working with Python for agentic development.
• Proactive mindset and ability to communicate directly with business users.
• Front-end experience (React or similar) is a plus but not required.

• Develop a user-driven UI tool used by the operations team for regulatory reporting.
• Work within a system handling billions of transactions to identify, retrieve, and fix incorrect ones.
• Build out an "agentic user" to automate tasks for operations users.
• Commit code and deliver it into production.
• Speak directly with users to confirm requirements, test solutions, and resolve issues.
• Proactively identify what needs to be built and propose solutions.
