Senior Delivery Manager

SOFTSWISS is the hiring organization located in Warszawa, Poland, headquartered at Towarowa 28.

• 5+ years of experience as a Project/Delivery Manager in IT industry across multiple organizations
• Proven ability to manage multiple teams of 10+ members
• Strong communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
• Adaptability to changing priorities and effective navigation of uncertainty
• Proficiency with Jira (Plans, eazyBI, BigPicture) and Confluence
• English proficiency at B2+ level and strong command of Russian

Nice to have:

• Experience in the Gambling industry
• Background in product-focused companies
• Prior experience in software development
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP), Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certifications

Agile Leadership & Team Facilitation:

• Serve as a servant-leader for Backend, Frontend, and QA/AQA teams, ensuring Agile principles and Scrum best practices are effectively implemented
• Coach and mentor team members to foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives
• Identify and remove impediments to keep teams focused on delivering value

Delivery Management & Execution:

• Own end-to-end delivery process, ensuring timely execution based on an approved roadmap
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Engineering Leads to define delivery plans including scope, dependencies, and risk assessment
• Monitor and control feature delivery progress across sprints to align with commitments
• Proactively manage risks and dependencies coordinating across multiple teams
• Enforce stakeholder engagement, manage expectations, address concerns, and maintain feedback loops
• Lead issue resolution during sprints in cooperation with team members and engineering leads

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:

• Evaluate and refine delivery frameworks continuously to improve Agile workflow efficiency and effectiveness
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on delivery processes, agreements, and best practices
• Drive process automation and improvements aligned with best practices
• Highlight and track quality-related issues collaborating with QA Leads for product quality improvements
• Ensure effective cross-team collaboration and help navigate operational challenges

Team Management & Development:

• Conduct soft skills evaluations and risk assessments during interviews
• Participate in performance reviews and probation assessments providing structured feedback
• Optimize team composition and workload management for efficient task assignments and skill balance
• Track individual and team performance through regular 1:1s and performance improvement plans
• Manage vacation and absence planning minimizing impact on delivery timelines

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication:

• Provide weekly reports on feature/project progress, risks, blockers, and key metrics
• Deliver sprint reports including issue tracking, root cause analysis, and improvement actions
• Prepare monthly capacity allocation reports detailing feature costs and resource allocation
