Test Analyst - STP Systems & Financial Services

Our client is a well-established financial services organisation operating within the banking sector, specialising in Straight-Through Processing (STP) systems that ensure seamless, automated transaction processing. They invest in collaborative communities of practice and continuous learning initiatives, valuing cross-functional teamwork, adaptability, and technical proficiency.

• 8-10 years of software testing experience, with strong manual and automated testing skills
• Proven experience in financial services environments, preferably within STP or payments domains
• Proficiency in designing test cases for functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing
• Hands-on experience in Agile environments, including sprint ceremonies and backlog grooming
• Strong technical skills with ReadyAPI, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins
• Experience with defect tracking and triage using Azure DevOps
• Familiarity with STP-related technologies including IBM MQ, Swift messaging, and ISO 15022/20022 standards
• Knowledge of middleware validation and CI/CD pipeline integration
• Experience with performance, scalability, and reliability testing
• ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent (preferred)
• Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
• Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Adaptability and resilience in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Ability to work effectively in multicultural, cross-functional teams

• Participate in feature refinement sessions to validate testability of requirements
• Define comprehensive test strategies and prepare detailed test plans for features and epics
• Design and execute test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and non-functional testing
• Conduct performance, scalability, and reliability testing using the STP Test Framework
• Utilize ReadyAPI, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins for test automation and execution
• Manage and triage defects using Azure DevOps, ensuring timely resolution and accurate reporting
• Collaborate with Developers, Product Owners, and Delivery Owners to ensure delivery readiness
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the STP Testing Community of Practice
