Lead Go Developer

Our customer is an international organization operating in the financial and protection services domain. The project focuses on developing a high-performance, scalable distributed platform supporting complex business operations and rapid product growth.

• 5+ years of development experience in Go.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Higher education in Computer Science or related software development field.
• Extensive experience working with AI and implementing/configuring it within teams.
• Experience in fintech and banking domains with complex integrations.
• Knowledge of concurrency patterns in Go (goroutines, channels, sync primitives).
• System design for high performance and maintainability.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
• Advanced English proficiency.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the insurance domain.

• Designing and evolving scalable distributed systems in Go, choosing appropriate concurrency models balancing performance and maintainability.
• Collaborating with Product Managers to refine business goals into technical plans and delivery roadmaps.
• Anticipating edge cases, risks, and technical constraints early in planning.
• Representing the engineering team in meetings with external stakeholders, explaining technical topics in business terms.
• Leading and performing code reviews for senior engineers, ensuring code quality, resilience, and reliability.
• Driving improvements in CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes to ship high-quality code faster and safely.
