Software Engineer - Backend (Scala/Kotlin)

Pretius is developing a popular eCommerce platform.

• 4+ years of experience in a similar position.
• Experience working with Kotlin and/or Scala.
• Experience using AI to design, build, and develop solutions.
• Effective teamwork skills, proactive approach, and autonomy.
• Commitment to high-quality solutions including testing and optimization.
• Technology stack knowledge: Java, Spring Boot, Scala, TypeScript, LLM, Apache Spark, PostgreSQL.

Nice to have:

• Experience with React, TypeScript, and Angular.

• Support development and implement new functions in three projects:
  • Develop and optimize tools for verification, analysis, and improvement of product data.
  • Design and deploy automated processes utilizing producer data, merchants, SEO, and LLM models.
  • Create and optimize interfaces and business-technical processes enhancing efficiency, quality, and accuracy of data handling.
  • Automate detection, verification, repair, and propagation of changes in product structures and parameters.
