Staff Software Engineer - AI Solutions

John Deere Polska is investing in people and technology to address global challenges in food, fiber, and infrastructure. The role is part of the John Deere Business Service Center development in Poznań, Poland.

• Advanced technical knowledge and experience designing, developing, delivering, and maintaining software solutions.
• Experience in software design patterns and architectural integration patterns.
• Experience with solution implementations incorporating an AI Tech Stack.
• Hands-on experience adopting emerging AI and agentic patterns and translating them into scalable product capabilities.
• Awareness of emerging technologies and industry trends to inform decisions.
• Experience designing and delivering large-scale, performant, loosely coupled service-oriented architectures.
• Full stack hands-on experience in Python, JavaScript, React.

• Participate and/or lead strategic software solution design and development practices.
• Act as a hands-on software engineer integrating with teams using various technologies and languages.
• Collaborate with Channel AI Engineering Leadership on solution design relevance and feasibility.
• Work with cross-functional agile teams to plan, influence, align, develop, and deliver software solutions.
• Recommend technical developments to improve quality of systems, processes, infrastructure, and machines.
• Conceptualize products and services by leveraging data.
• Contribute to roadmap development for application software and prioritize development work.
• Deliver small- or medium-scale projects within program management plans.
• Monitor, identify, and correct complex software defects to maintain functioning applications.
